Office Administrator / Assistant

Primary responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping, bill payment, and reporting of company financials
  • Client invoicing, including working with all staff to ensure the accuracy of billable hours
  • Supporting sales and customer relationship management, including assistance in the generation printed matierials such as software specifications and sales proposals
  • General phone support and client communications, handling of incoming calls to the general office number, directing calls and taking messages
  • Addressing staff and client needs, disseminating information, ensuring that management goals are met
  • Purchasing and management of office and office supplies
  • Arranging office activities and helping to ensure a vibrant work atmosphere

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist development staff as needed in meeting project deadlines, including participation in software testing as time allows
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of the company web site and social media presence as skills and interest would allow 

Desired additional qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional office setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Some experience with bookkeeping or accounting, including experience with Quicken, QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Knowledge of and experience with internet technology and social media
